Little Kitchen Academy
Little Kitchen Academy is an educational franchise that teaches children ages 3 to 13 the joy of cooking while instilling important life skills and values. At LKA, sustainability is a core principle, and the partnership with ChopValue further enhances their commitment to creating a greener future.
The project involves retrofitting LKA's culinary education centers with sustainable design elements, furniture, and materials made from ChopValue's recycled chopstick composite.
The centerpiece of our partnership with LKA is the community table. As the preferred furniture partner, we design and manufacture a 10ft communal table for each franchise location. It serves as a gathering place for LKA students, where they learn the importance of sharing meals, building connections, and fostering a sense of community. Each table is made from 33,000 recycled chopstick materials collected within the community, a testament to the circular economy and the potential to transform waste into valuable resources.
Along with the community table, the partnership package includes a custom-designed bench with a signature Viola pattern, medium SMĪLE modular shelving, and LKA-branded products.
By leveraging ChopValue's recycled chopstick composite material and EFFYDesk's ergonomic design principles, the project seeks to provide businesses and individuals with sustainable and health-conscious workspace solutions.
